TEN COMPETITORS MOVE ON TO THE FINALS
A U.K. air guitar veteran and an American living in Thailand playing a French character tied for first place at the Dark Horses’ Qualifying Round for the Air Guitar World Championships on Thursday 24 August.
Thom ”w!ldth!ng” Wilding and faux Frenchie Steve “Fran Chopin” Ruggerio, along with eight other air guitarists from 12 different countries have advanced to tomorrow’s competition - the 22ndAir Guitar World Championships.
Altogether 20 Dark Horses took part in the qualification. These winners will face off against four champions from the U.S., Japan, Germany, and Canada, as well as reigning world air guitar champion Matt “Airistotle” Burns (US).
